Un robo en un establecimiento de comida en Maipú desencadenó una persecución que culminó en Cerrillos, resultando en el vuelco del vehículo de los delincuentes y la muerte de dos de ellos.
El incidente, que tuvo lugar recientemente, comenzó en Maipú, donde cuatro individuos, todos extranjeros, perpetraron un asalto en un local de comida rápida ubicado en Cuarta Transversal con O’Higgins. Tras el atraco, emprendieron la fuga en un vehículo.
Las víctimas, tras el robo, informaron a Carabineros sobre el incidente y detallaron que uno de los objetos sustraídos poseía un rastreo GPS activo.
La policía logró dar con los delincuentes, dando inicio a una persecución que culminó en Lo Errázuriz con Valle de la Luna en Cerrillos, donde el conductor perdió el control y volcó el automóvil.
Como resultado, dos delincuentes perdieron la vida, según lo informado por el oficial de ronda de la Prefectura Santiago Rinconada, teniente Félix Carrasco. Además, otras dos personas fueron detenidas y quedaron bajo disposición judicial.
